Elderberries are a tiny dark purple berry originally from Europe. This power packed berry has been around as early as 2000 B.C.E.  "The berries and flowers of elderberry are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that may boost your immune system. They could help tame inflammation, lessen stress, and help protect your heart, too. Some experts recommend elderberry to help prevent and ease cold and flu symptoms." - WebMD*. Coming from a culinary back round, TEC likes to look at them as a functional food perspective. There are a bunch of yummy ways to use this amazing berry! Our Elderberry Syrup can be used in so many different ways!  Pour it on your ice cream, make a chicken glaze, add it to your warm tea or coffee. It goes great with bourbon and of course just the way it is. You choose culinary, medicinal or both!

After nearly 2 years of research, I am confident that TEC has found one of the world's current leading experts in Elderberry!  They continue to prove their dedication with over 30 years of experience and passion in providing TEC with quality tested Elderberry. Haschberg is the variety of European black elderberry product in our current recipe. They are grown in volcanic ash in Austria.  Volcanic ash is a versatile and effective multi-nutrient mineral fertilize. Only the ripest elderberries are hand harvested. They are NON-GMO, gluten free, kosher, vegan and ID confirmed.

TEC Elderberry Syrup is certified lab tested to last 1 year, unopened.  As a perishable, natural product, once opened you must store it in the refrigerator and use promptly to savor its full flavor and benefits. Once opened you can expect 30-90 days. Although I have had customers say 6+ months. You can also freeze our elderberry syrup in ice cube trays/bags for several months and thaw out smaller amounts as necessary.  Plus, this makes a great flavored ice cube for your drinks! Or use smaller gummy molds for the kiddos.  My little loves it that way since it's like a tiny popsicle. Mom win!

Our local raw wildflower honey comes from Union Bridge, MD.  It is a gorgeous golden yellow delicious enough to eat by the spoonful! Raw honey is known as a source of antioxidants, antibacterial, antifungal, heals wounds and a phytonutrient powerhouse.*
